This shop is making a name for itself in Klang city. This place has got a good collection of fishing tackle in Klang. Fairly connectible, there is a fair amount of parking space that can be available at times. However if the tenancy of this area goes up this might be a thing of the past.
Fishmax is a nicely manicured and laid out shop. One can not help ignore that this shop would appeal more to lure fishermen. They carry a good collection of premium lures to satisfy anyone interested in lure casting.
Upon entering the shop, we noticed that the owner must be a big fan of vintage abu. We spotted a large collection of antiquated Cardinals and Ambassadeurs. There were also some very early reels. Priceless in today's value.
There was a bargain bin with some budget reels in it. Good selection if you are on a budget. Nice to see bins like these in any shop. Makes the place more welcoming. More tackle shops should do this!
We came to see the lures. This place did not dissappoint. Despite not being very large these lures seemed to be very targeted and each one of them had more than one fish ni mind. Good choices to look at if you are in Klang.
Apart from the run of the mill Rapalas and Surebite soft plastics there were some exotic lures too. Worth considering if you are heavy in the luring game.
Being very technique specific there were alot of casting rods about in the shop. All at a varying degree of costs. Best to divulge budget before seeking the what rod to acquire. Do also have rod weight in mind too.
There is a good selection of terminal tackle is you are seeking these. One can equip themselves here before going out to sea. However do take note this place does not sell live bait. Please acquire this at a pet shop further down the road.
